Did you know that one of the 7 standard events in rodeo is team roping? It is a timed event where stopwatches are used to track the best times for each event. All the timed events, except barrel racing use a barrier, strung across the roping chutes. This is makes the event a little more challenging for the participant. Breaking the barrier results in a penalty in each event.
